Following our successful launch on 18 April 2013, this is the third in our series of Engaging Leaders Forums in partnership with The Mallows Company to discuss, develop and implement a strategy to increase levels of employee engagement at work. This particular Forum will focus on engaging managers and the behaviours they need to demonstrate to empower employees to go the extra mile.

Our Forum will be a blend of presentation and best practice discussion, focusing on developing your thinking and helping you build a strategy for getting the most from your people at work. Our agenda is as follows:

  • From 11.30 am: Arrival (with refreshments)
  • 12.00 pm: Our guest speaker Graham Jackson will be outlining the case for engaging managers at work; the attitudes they need and the behaviours required to succeed in today’s competitive world of luxury retail
  • 12.30 pm: Cafe-style lunch followed by group work to enable you to plan how to increase the levels of engagement in your people at work to deliver your customers’ expectations.
  • 1.45 pm: Review, next steps and agendas for future our Forums which will focus on engaging managers, creating an employee voice and acting with integrity.

Our venue is the highly acclaimed Frank’s Hamburger House, situated on the busy and cosmopolitan Wellingborough Road in Northampton, and guaranteeing to generate the right kind of atmosphere for us to discuss and develop our ideas on how to lead in 2013 and beyond.

About our guest speaker: As managing director of luxury kitchen specialist A Bell & Company, Graham Jackson is an experienced and highly competent retail operations director. He has a proven track record of not only creating and setting strategy but also turning these into realistic and pragmatic action plans. Graham is an enthusiastic and passionate retailer with great self awareness and strong coaching skills. He has a strong reputation for being value driven and believes in delivering results through a team. Graham is experienced in managing change and engendering a customer and service driven environment.
