Our Equality of Opportunity & Diversity Policy

At Beyond Theory our Equality of Opportunity & Diversity policy is to fully comply with the Equality Act 2010. We also adhere to the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) code of conduct.

In particular:

All employees, associate trainers and customers (course delegates and people being coached) will be treated fairly and equally and with respect.

  • Selection for employment, promotion, training or any other benefit will be on the basis of aptitude and ability.
  • All employees and associates will be helped and encouraged to develop their full potential and the talents and resources of the workforce will be fully utilised.

Our commitment to our employees, associate trainers, suppliers and customers is that:

  • Everyone will be treated with dignity and respect
  • No form of intimidation, bullying or harassment will be tolerated.

Wherever and whenever it is appropriate we will make reasonable adjustments. For example, we take into account physical disabilities when preparing and delivering our training and coaching. We have also taken into account language issues eg when English is a second language.

Breaches of this policy will be regarded as misconduct and could lead to disciplinary proceedings (with regard to employees and associate trainers) or complaint (i.e. suppliers).

Customers who breach this policy (e.g. delegates on a course) will be advised that failure to comply may result in the training or coaching being terminated for them.

This policy will be monitored and reviewed annually or as required in the event of revised legislation coming into being.
