Our Malpractice and Maladministration Policy

We are an Approved training provider by the Institute of Leadership. Therefore we undertake to investigate all instances of malpractice and maladministration and take appropriate action.

Because we are an Approved provider Centre our own policy and procedures will mirror those outlined by the Institute of Leadership.

We take incidents of malpractice (which includes maladministration) seriously in terms of:

  • Approved provider malpractice
  • Learner malpractice

(Please refer to the Institute of Leadership policy for definitions and examples of malpractice and maladministration).

Our internal quality assurance (IQA) processes act as our internal quality control mechanism to identify any malpractice. Any incidents will be reported and acted upon as per the policy on malpractice and maladministration. This includes use of the appropriate documentation.

Our external verification processes undertaken by the Institute of Leadership act as a safeguard to ensure that our own internal quality control mechanisms are fit for purpose and being actively managed. These processes will be discussed as part of our annual review process.

This policy is reviewed annually.
