Our Malpractice and Maladministration Policy

We are an ILM Centre offering Diploma (Level 5) and Certificate (Level 3) qualifications and an ILM Recognised Provider of Endorsed Programmes in leadership and management. Therefore we undertake to investigate all instances of malpractice and maladministration and take appropriate action.

Because we are an ILM Centre our own policy and procedures will mirror those outlined by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) – please click here for details.

We take incidents of malpractice (which includes maladministration) seriously in terms of:

  • ILM Centre malpractice
  • Learner malpractice

(Please refer to the ILM policy for definitions and examples of malpractice and maladministration).

Our internal quality assurance (IQA) processes act as our internal quality control mechanism to identify any malpractice. Any incidents will be reported and acted upon as per the ILM policy on malpractice and maladministration. This includes use of the appropriate documentation.

Our external verification processes undertaken by ILM act as a safeguard to ensure that our own internal quality control mechanisms are fit for purpose and being actively managed. These processes will be discussed as part of our annual review process.

This policy is reviewed annually.
